Davenport Panthers

Davenport enters their tenth tournament as the #2 ranked team in the country.  A heartbreaking loss to Indiana Wesleyan in the final round of the 2013 tournament ended the Panthers’ hope of claiming their first NAIA DII Women’s championship.  Their only loss of the 2013-2014 season occurred at 24th ranked Cornerstone University on November 20.  The Panthers would find redemption against the Eagles on February 22 with a dominating 83-57 win at home.  A 78-60 victory against 16th ranked Sienna Heights also highlighted the Panthers regular season schedule.  Overall, Davenport ranks second in turnover margin and third in steals per game, scoring margin, and total steals.  Sophomore Forward Tiesha Stokes leads the Panthers with 14.7 points per game.  In Division II, Stokes ranks #1 in field goal percentage.  Junior Guard Kia Frazier ranks fourth in Division II with 103 total steals.
