The Oklahoma Wesleyan Lady Eagles are currently 26-6 overall and 11-3 in the Midlands College Athletic Conference play in Head Coach Jason Jeschke’s first season at the helm. The Lady Eagles are led by senior Nichole Tate, who leads the team with 14.1 points per game, 3.8 assists per game and 2.5 steals per game. Junior Susan Agesen and sophomore Kayla Morgan are also key contributors, averaging 12.4 points per game and 11.6 points per game. The Lady Eagles average over 78 points per game both overall and in conference play, while holding opponents just under 62 points per game. As a team the Eagles can not only shoot the three, but defend against it as well, as they rank 3rd in both three-point percentage defense (25%) and three-point field goals made (304). Oklahoma Wesleyan’s key victories this season include a 73-70 victory over Tabor College in the Sterling Classic on Nov. 21st, a 76-73 victory over the College of the Ozarks on January 17th and a 64-52 win over College of Saint Mary (Neb.) on January 30th.
