Game 3) No one expected for a game that started out as slow as Eastern Oregon and Concordia’s (Mich.) game did to end up becoming as exciting it was. Both teams shot under 18 percent in the first 10 minutes of the game. At the start of the second half, with the score being 27-22 in favor of Concordia, Eastern Oregon turned on the jets and fueled a comeback to send the game into overtime where they finished off the Concordia Cardinals, defeating them 70-63.

Game 4) The No. 5 seed Broncos from Hastings got off to a quick start in this game as they led 27-17 against College of the Ozarks. However, Hastings shot a dismal 50 percent from the charity strike and the Lady Bobcats found extra energy in their student, section to pull out a victory over the Broncos 57-43.

Game 5) No. 4 seed Briar Cliff faced off against a tough No. 1 seed Davenport squad in the second round which resulted in a very intense game from start to finish. Davenport led early but Briar Cliff went on a run to end the half going in to the locker room only down by two. In the second half, the two continually traded leads over and over until the final couple seconds when Briar Cliff edged Davenport 67-65.

Game 6) No. 2 seed Morningside came into this game pumped up after their first round victory, having more fans in the stands in this game against No. 3 seed Mt. Mercy than during their first-round game. Both teams started off hot, but Mt. Mercy took the lead into half 38-34. In the second half, the game remained even until the last couple minutes when Mt. Mercy started to pull away enough to secure a victory 69-62.

Game 7) No.1 seed Concordia (Neb.) made a statement in the first half against No. 4 seed Cardinal Stritch as they dominated early, heading into the locker room at halftime leading 34-17. They then continued to dominate the game in the second half. Cardinal Stritch started to patch a comeback together but was down by too much to be able to really do anything about their deficit as they lost by 20 points, 68-48.

Game 8 Grand View competed against Corban in the final match up of the day. Grand View quickly jumped ahead of Corban and carried the lead throughout the first and second half.
