Cam Penner

Cam Penner is a Junior at Hastings College majoring in both broadcasting and web communication design. Penner is the co-webmaster of the student-run media website, hcmediaonline.org.
Through the college, Penner has had the opportunity to explore several aspects of video production. He’s shot, written and edited news packages and promo videos for HC Media and Hastings College. Penner also shot and directed live productions of Hastings College sporting events. He’s worked on all aspects of television/live streaming production for the NAIA Division II Women’s Basketball National Championship in Sioux City, Iowa as part of the HC Media team. Along with collegiate media, independent video projects have allowed him to further explore his creativity and improve skills.
In the future, Penner hopes to use his background in video production and web design to start his own business.
