Will Reynolds is a junior at Hastings College and a double-major in sports management and sports communication studies. He’s originally from Colorado Springs, Colorado where he attended Doherty High School. Sports are his passion. Reynolds loves to talk and write about any sports topic. This is his first trip to Sioux City for the NAIA DII Women’s Basketball National Championship, but he is excited to meet new people and diversify his media skills. Reynolds is also looking forward to the overall experience and challenges of covering an event of this caliber.

Back at Hastings College, Reynolds is involved with multiple activities. He is the Director of Sports Content for Hastings College Media, the sports field reporter for HCTV’s weekly news program, Bronco News Now, as well as a writer for the campus newspaper, the “Collegian.” Reynolds is both a play-by-play and color commentator for various Bronco sports teams, currently including soccer, baseball and both men’s and women’s basketball. In the fall, he hopes to expand his commentary across all Bronco sports. Reynolds is also a student-athlete: a pitcher for the Hastings College baseball team.

During the summer, Reynolds enjoys playing golf, traveling, working and writing. Last summer, he played in a summer collegiate baseball league, the Virginia Beach Collegiate Baseball League in Norfolk, Virginia. He also filled an intern position for the VBCBL in broadcasting. His roles were broadcast director and commentator. In his spare time, Reynolds enjoys watching sports, writing and painting. His dream job is to be a writer and sports analyst/on-air talent for a major sports network.
